The Charities Amendment Act 2023 comes into force on Thursday 5 October 2023. Sue Barker of Charities Law has produced a booklet for charities on what they need to know about the changes.

Charities will need to pay attention to these changes, especially changes to the rules around Officers and the need to explain how accumulated funds are contributing to their charitable purpose.
