Transforming Taranaki Food landscape

About This Project

BAF has enabled a new partnership between The Bashford-Nichols Trust and WITT that will see up to 5 students of the level 4 organic horticulture course access a scholarship of $3000.

The scholarships are part of the Bishop’s Action Foundation’s commitment to enhancing food security and food justice for the region and reflect the focus of the Bashford-Nichols Trust on supporting regional students to develop agriculture and horticulture skills that will support an innovative future for the region’s food and agriculture landscape.

If demand for the course proves high enough there is the potential to create more scholarships in partnership with WITT.

The deadline for scholarships will be 31 May each year and should be submitted to c.freeman@witt.ac.nz

The application form can be accessed here WITT scholarship form 2024
