About This Project

The Wheelhouse is a single point of contact for Taranaki community organisations to help them grow stronger and be more sustainable.

The Wheelhouse is a partnership of eight Taranaki capacity building organisations.  Representatives from each of these organisations make up The Wheelhouse Capacity Building Group and meet on a quarterly basis.  BAF acts as the backbone organisation and employs The Wheelhouse Manager on behalf of the Capacity Building Group.

The partners also include the New Plymouth District Council, Stratford District Council, South Taranaki District Council, Department of Internal Affairs, Sport Taranaki, Te Puni Kokiri and Tui Ora.  Significant funding is provided by the TSB Community Trust.
