About This Project

BAF is a founding member of Flaxroots which is the national Social Enterprise Enablers Network and has evolved from the Akina Foundation led Regional Hubs pilot that followed the 2017 Social Enterprise World Forum in Christchurch.

Flaxroots is a network of local enablers of social enterprise, kaupapa-driven enterprise and community-led enterprises working collaboratively towards a thriving Aotearoa.

Working in partnership with the other founding members from around the country we aim to maximise outcomes for social entrepreneurs by connecting and nourishing social enterprise support hubs and enabling the sharing of learning, resources and innovation.
