The Mentoring Foundation

About This Project

BAF continues to support the Mentoring Foundation of NZ as it engages with regional communities across Aotearoa.  The Mentoring Foundation is strengthening the community and Not for Profit sector by implementing leadership mentoring programmes in partnership with regional organisations.  The initiative is backed by The Tindall Foundation and is delivering programmes to over 200 people in 2023.

The Mentoring Foundation has also partnered with Te Atiawa to deliver an Iwi based leadership programme, the outcomes from this partnership are inspiring.

The Mentoring Foundation has entered into a partnership with Community Governance, a Foundation North initiative, that is focused on the development of governance in our communities.  The partnership will deliver 10 governance mentoring programmes in 2023.

The Mentoring Foundation continues to explore opportunities to expand the programme into specific areas such as sport and recreation, ethnic communities and the disability sector, while still increasing the number of regions offering the generic leadership programme.
